dc.description | Provenance / Custodial history: The current manuscript owner inherited the collection from his father, Arfang Nouha Sylla. His father was born in Oudoucar where he received his Islamic education, and served as a Quranic teacher until his death. | en_US |

Included within are copies of poems by Sitokoto Dabo, the most famous Mandinka Ajami poet of Senegambia.
