The School of Social Work offers an integrated program of study incorporating methods in clinical and macro social work in urban settings. The program offers MSW and PhD degrees. Students learn to engage individual and community strengths to further their understanding, treatment, and prevention of individual and social problems. With over $2.5 million in research grants and contracts focused on current clinical and community challenges in urban environments, students have the opportunity to impact critical issues in areas such as substance abuse, gerontology, compulsive hoarding, and related mental health concerns.
